UNMAKING researchers present at ESEE 2022

Leonie Guerrero Lara, Guilherme Raj, Jacob Smessaert and Giuseppe Feola presented papers at the 14th conference of the European Society for Ecological Economics in Pisa, Italy, last week.

Leonie Guerrero Lara presented the paper ‘The politics of the Netzwerk Solidarische Landwirtschaft: from prefiguration to conventional repertoires’ (abstract here);

Guilherme Raj presented the paper ‘Power in the transformation of work relations in community-supported agriculture'(abstract here);

Jacob Smessaert presented the paper ‘Democratic praxis in agrifood collectives: transforming politics for social-ecological transformation’ (abstract here);

Giuseppe Feola presented the paper ‘Unlearning as exnovation at community level: the case of community-supported agriculture farms transitioning towards solidarity payment’ (abstract here). The lead author of this paper is Laura van Oers.

 

Guilherme Raj, Leonie Guerrero Lara and GIuseppe Feola also convened the conference special session  on ‘Power and politics in agri-food system transformation’, which hosted 8 papers from international scholars.
